WCCDA Webinar:

Helpers Need Help, Too

Date & Time:
Wed, February 11th, 2026 | 12:00–1:00 PM Pacific Time

Description:The desire to help is a wonderful, motivating force for good in the world, but it can also be heavy and overwhelming. How do we let go of the need to fix, save and rescue while still making a difference? This will help career development practitioners learn how to effectively support others, while also finding balance and joy within themselves.

Participants will gain tools to:

  • Examine and shape their own beliefs and values around helping others

  • Strengthen those beliefs that support them in their roles

  • Learn evidence-based practices to protect against burnout and compassion fatigue
